Sibling Fights and Pizza Nights

If your household looks anything like mine, lazy summer days have been long anticipated…

But the extra (unstructured) time at home may mean just a few more sibling rivalries. (Or am I the only one?)

One tradition we look forward to every week is Pizza Night. We roll out the dough, spread the sauce, and pick our toppings – which are as unique as the little hands spreading them.

Each mini-pizza turns out differently (but they’re all yummy!) This helps us see that in our family, though each person who pulls up a seat at the table is unique and different from the one sitting next to her – together we’re a beautiful creation πŸ™‚

I always think life lessons go down easier with food!

And if you’re looking for a summer read for you, friend – one that also inspires us to let our differences draw us closer to Jesus and to each other – might I suggest The Inheritance? It’s been called “a delectable mish mash of rugelach and caprese, conversations on the Bible and Torah, prophecy, art, and more…” by fellow author Michelle Ami Reyes. If you haven’t read it yet, I hope it blesses you as much as writing it blessed me! (And if you haven’t guessed, my character’s lessons also go down easier with good food!)

You may find your copy on Amazon, or if you prefer, reach out to writerlaurajane(at)gmail(dot)com to purchase a signed copy from me πŸ™‚

Let the summer fun begin! May any sibling rivalries in your house be briefer and weaker than your latest cup of coffee πŸ™‚

With Love in Christ,

Laura
